In dem 3-tägigen Workshop für Menschen zwischen 14 und 19 Jahren wird gemeinsam ein Weg durch die Ausstellung gesucht: Kann ich mit der Kunst oder den Themen der Ausstellung etwas anfangen? Was hat das mit mir zu tun? Wir setzen uns mit den künstlerischen Arbeiten durch Gespräche, Musik und Schreibübungen auseinander und verbinden diese – je nach persönlichem Wunsch – mit den eigenen Lebenserfahrungen. Aus unseren Perspektiven produzieren wir einen gemeinsamen Radiobetrag. Mit Dean Ruddock, Lyriker, Initiative Postmigrantisches Radio.

Im Rahmen von Daniel Boyds Ausstellung RAINBOW SERPENT (VERSION) lesen die Autor*innen Joe Otim Dramiga, Bahati Glaß, Melanelle B. C. Hémêfa, Winni Atiedo Modesto, Raphaëlle Red und Dean Ruddock ihre Texte, die sie für Resonanzen – Schwarzes Literaturfestival 2022 rund um das Impulswort „Erbe“ geschrieben haben. Die Veranstaltung wird moderiert von Ibou Coulibaly Diop und Dominique Haensell.
Raphaëlle Red und ich senden live aus Halle über Literatur, hören aber auch Texte von Cristina Raffaele, Bahati Glass, Elona Beqiraj und Orhan Erdem.

Am Samstag, den 22. Oktober 2022 laden wir herzlich zur Buchpräsentation von „Resonanzen. Schwarzes Literaturfestival“ (Spector Books) ein. Feiert mit uns und Mitwirkenden des #Resonanzen22 Festivals – vor und hinter den Kulissen. Durch den Abend werden wir von Hadija Haruna-Oelker geführt.

Die Veranstaltung findet in deutscher Lautsprache statt. Der Ort ist rollstuhlgerecht und es gilt Maskenpflicht.

Im August wird die damals zerstörte Ausstellung RE:Action wieder an ausgewählten Schaufenstern in der Stadt Weimar gezeigt. Mittlerweile kümmert sich der Verein WE United gemeinsam mit dem Netzwerk Antirassismus um die Ausstellung.

Considering the events of the past few weeks and months; the attack on Café Spunk, the spray-painted Stolpersteine, the increase of right-wing graffiti and other incidents, we read the destruction of our last exhibition on diversity and racism as a politically motivated attack and have reported it as such – so far without results.
When we talked about the incident in the group, people expressed fear because in the exhibition there were faces of people who live in Weimar. People who study, work and live here. People who showed their faces to share about themselves, their everyday lives and their resulting perspectives. We can see that claiming one’s right to exist and peacefully displaying it is enough to provoke people in this city – so much so that they violently and underhandedly attack the self-expression of others. The fear in our group stems from the fact that we no longer feel safe in Weimar. After the many attacks on people perceived as non-white or non-German in Hanau, Halle and Celle, we wonder if people in Weimar are also in danger. A friend wrote to me after I told him what happened:
“In reaction, relevance is mirrored by action; in the degree of polarisation, the need for collective reflection on the issue negotiated in action is revealed.
Through the wanton destruction, we can see that it is crystal clear – once again – how extremely important a corresponding awareness is, as transported by the action., And that yet more needs to be created.”
Put simply; if the reaction to an exhibition in which people speak about experiences of racism is so violent, it can be seen as an indication that dealing with this topic is absolutely necessary, and that the discussion is far from over – even for the supposedly cosmopolitan, cultural city of Weimar.
There is a lot to do and we will not be silent because someone is trying to stop us from speaking. That is why we have organised another exhibition. We want to continue to give ourselves a platform to make ourselves heard.
We won’t let anyone take away our rights to speak, to show ourselves and to exist.

Das Hörspiel Vorschlag einer Struktur, basierend auf einem Text des Kollektivs Gelbe Supp (Kathrin Frech, Anna Maria Pahlke, Luise Hess, Marie Kübler, Julia Römpp) wird im Rahmen des Leipziger Hörspielsommers gespielt. (Auf der Website steht 25:15 Uhr – was vermutlich 1:15 Uhr Morgens bedeutet)
<<Once upon a time, the timeline broke into tiny pieces, and everything that had existed broke within. We entered the era of Reversal, backpedaling in the direction of the Beginning, where the world was about to start again or remain. While exploring haptically the skeletons of time, we see how differently they were treated. Their parts were cut, their surface destroyed, crippled, and often left with scars. The color faded away, texture mutilated, being wrapped in the past with its shape deformed. These fossils have neither purpose nor history. The artifacts were floating around, losing their structure, scent, purpose, and gravitation. Their bodies were thoroughly examined and carefully excavated from the void they were found in. Shoveled Future relics materially culminate while being dug out. Their existence depends on the speculation and imagination of the observer. Found broken, longing for what is lacking in a changed present, or Future.>>
The Futurology Kiosk is a mixed-media project founded by visual artist Nadja Kracunovic. Combining multiple mediums, sound (Future Nostalgia FM radio), spatial installation (kiosk as a time capsule), and performative objects (ceramics), its futuristic experience unsettles the present and speculates on the future. The inventory consists of imaginatively designed broken ceramics lavishly displayed to be dug out and explorred. The artifacts are excavations from the future bringing nostalgia for what has never happened. The project has a narrative that waves between imagination, aspirations, and human interactions while exploring new fusions between mediums.
